Adriane Galea Studio of Voice & Piano was founded in September 2005 by Adriane Galea after teaching privately for nearly eight years. We teach private piano and both private and group vocal lessons to students of any age.
Throughout the year, our studio has two or three recitals and participates in two competitions, which students are expected to participate in. We have many fundraisers during the year as well, which raises money for a scholarship fund that sends students to competitions, fine arts camps, amongst other things.

Music has been in my life longer than I can remember. I began taking piano lessons at the age of 2˝ and voice lessons at 7. As of this year, I have been studying piano for 21 years and vocal for 16 years. In January, I will have been teaching for 11 years. The majority of my music studies have been with Tracey L. King of the King School of Music, in both vocal and piano, however I have also studied with Kristi Kruger of Allen Park High School and privately with Ruth Meyers of Ruth Meyers Studio of Dearborn on the harp. I am now also studying with Barbara Wiltsie (vocal) and Dr. Linette Popoff-Parks (piano) at Madonna University and Dr. Carmen Pelton (vocal) at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. During high school, I was vocal director of The Wizard of Oz, assistant music director of How to Eat Like a Child and vocal director of Bye, Bye Birdie; more recently I was also the vocal director of Singin’ in the Rain with DYPAC and have been asked to serve as vocal director of Thoroughly Modern Millie with Southgate Community Players in the Spring. Professionally, I am a member of the American Guild of Music, where I serve as advisor to the student council and also served on the committee to revise the Vocal Broadway and Vocal Art Song test lists. Currently, I am a student at Madonna University in Livonia as a music business and vocal performance major, and have been asked to audition at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor for the Fall of 2009 to pursue a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in vocal performance.
